Since its founding in 1991, the International Eötvös Institute Foundation has gained an extensive reputation both in Hungary and abroad for promoting contemporary music by providing information, organizing international master courses for young conductors and composers.
During the past 20 years the Foundation has organized more than 30 master courses and concert tours with 20th century contemporary music program. To extend and enlarge its field of activity the Foundation started a new line of courses for composers to conduct their own compositions, and workshops for conductors and composers to work together. We have a long-time established connection with European orchestras, music academies and musical institutions and had several international projects and courses in co-operation.
